I am greatly delighted to bring greetings during the 22 Biennial National

Conference of ETF held at Chennai. Looking back, after the 21 Biennial National
th

Conference held from 6 to 8 October 2019 at Pune, the entry of global threat of
Covid-19 in the ending of the year 2019 slowed down the fast moving world almost
to a standstill situation.

Indeed, it has been a hectic and strenuous period for all of us, especially for
those who are in service, to get accustomed to a new way of life during this
unexpected and unforeseen pandemic situation. But let us thank God for His
sustaining grace, peace and presence that have been sufficient for all of us through
this crisis. God has been faithful in providing our needs and protecting us
from/through any kind of physical setbacks and dangers, strengthening each one
of us to depend on Him more. We have been challenged to Look within to grow in
our personal faith and prayer life. Even amidst pain and grief, our faith journey as a
Christian community could move forward with hope.

Looking around, ETF ministry also had to encounter challenges. Praise God for
providing the Chennai ETF team an opportunity to undertake the responsibility of
dispatching the Chalk and Chai magazine from January 2020 just before the
lockdown was announced. Praise be to God for enabling ETF to expand even
during the lock down period. By the grace of God the mailing list of Chalk and Chai
served as the best source of information to undertake a E - journey during this
lockdown period to make 'E - Knock' through E-Ways (phone calls, E-mails and
whatsapp messages) to individuals and institutions in different parts of the
country. I am humbled, before our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for His wonderful
guidance to get introduced to many teachers and administrators of educational
